Poker is a card game of both skill and luck that has been played for well over one hundred years by gamblers from all walks of life. When you consider the amount of revenue that sites can earn by hosting poker games and tournaments it's hard to imagine that online poker will be going away anytime soon. Many poker professionals believe that at sometime in the near future mounting pressure will cause the U.S. government to institute a series of rules and regulations to give online poker a more legitimate feel. Once the government is able to regulate online poker it's obvious that the number of poker sites that accept U.S. poker players will greatly increase.
